Are you still looking for Almira? She married Neil Sturdevant in Leeds Co., Upper Canada on 6 JUL 1838, by banns. Witnesses were James Collins and Thomas F. Howland. Rev'd. Henry Gordon of Gananoque. This marriage is recorded in the Johnstown District Marriage Register, 1799-1851. Both bride and groom were of Leeds Co.

The Baillie name caught my eye because I'm looking for a Christiana Baillie who married Ebenezer Knapp of Bastard Twp., Leeds Co. She is mentioned in his 1828 will as his wife Christiana Knapp, formerly Christiana Baillie. So no way to know if she was a widow or if that was her maiden name.
