Hey All,

I received a reply on my email, that I sent to the National Portrait Gallery in London,England.

I was wondering about a engraving or print of a Lt.Col William Kellett. This is what they sent me back as information.

Drawn and engraved by his old Friend & Brother Officer WBaillie 1786.

Col. Wm. KELLETT Lt. Col. of 39 Regt. of Foot

was present with that Corps during the Glorious defence of Gibraltar when besieged by the united Force of Spain & France
in the Years 1779, 80, 81, 82.

They couldn't find any evidence to tell me,if the engraving was made in the United States or England.

I'm hoping someone can tell me who W.Baillie is and maybe might know of this William Kellett.

Regards...
Josiah JB Kellett...
