Hi:
I have a couple of name connections that maybe (maybe not)tied into your family.
Frist; my ggg grandfather married a Jane Baillie Sept 21. 1849 in Glasgow. I am speculating that Jane may have been born Nov. 13 1826 to Robert Baillie and Mary Grant in mortlach, Banff????
Second:their son John (b 1852 Bishopbriggs)married a Annie Reid (b.1853 Bothwell) on Oct.11 1872. Her parents were John Reid and Jane Mcpherson. I noticed your information contained some Mcpherson so maybe there's a connection.
