I was wondering if you knew if the surname Bailie has anything to do with the surname Bailey?I just started researching my family history and was wondering if the two names were just an adaptation of each other..I am not sure where the Bailey's originated from as of yet,but the ones I speak of were from South Carolina and spread over the east coast.
