Hi Doug,
I'm Walter's granddaughter through his youngest child with Adeline, Mildred. Walter,who was a judge and state legislator,was the son of John Carroll Bailey and Caroline(Callie)Green Bailey. This was a second marriage and Walter was the only child(although he had 4 half brothers).
Walter and Adeline had 4 children: Henry Harrison Bailey;Walter Elijah Jr;John Carroll and Mildred Adeline,my mom. My grandmother died at a very young age when my mother was 4,and Walter re-married and was the father of another daughter,Helen Marie.
Walter died in 1971.
Hope this helps and if you have any info about the Duvall line of Sarah Elizabeth I'd be so grateful..just cannot find anything about that line.
