MAN DROWNED -- The 'Call' of Monday has the following: "A man named F.H. BAHN, a hand on board the schooner Ringleader, Capt. THOMPSON, was drowned from that vessel at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, near the Twin Brothers, at San Pablo Point. He was at work at the time and missed his footing. He sank immediately and his body was not recovered. The schooner was proceeding at the time from this city to Stockton, with a load of lumber, but Captain THOMPSON returned at once to get another man and report the accident. The deceased was a Dane, and aged 30 years. He was not married, but has a brother residing in this city." [San Francisco]
