Edward Charles Saunders b.1873/74 d. June8,1940 age 66yrs. Lived in Nassau from at least 1898 until his death(I believe he lived in Nassau all his life but I have no proof). He married Grace Robinson b.Sept 28, 1880 d.Feb.6,1929. Her father was from England and her mother was the daughter of Hiram Moss of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. She was born and raised in Brooklyn NY and lived there until my grandparents married in 1898.My grandfather returned to Nassau with his new bride after the wedding and they lived there until their deaths.

Edward had at least one brother and sister. He may have had more siblings.The two I know of are :

Margaret Alice Saunders b.May 10, 1868 d.Aug 5, 1943. She married Henty Christopher Christie b.1886 d. 1930. Her obit states she was born in Nassau and lived there all her life.

James Leacher Saunders b.? d.between 1906-1934. He was a member of the Bahamian parliment from at least 1896 until 1906. It is probable he moved to Miami after 1906 and lived there until his death. His widow died in Miami sometime after 1934.

Any leads or clues as to the parents of Edward, Maragret and James will be greatly appreciated.
