Alfred Augustus Richardson is a greatx? grandfather of mine. He was born in Nassau
on 18/6/1833. He later became a lieutenant in the 4th West India Regt and migrated to Australia in ca1861. I understand that BDM records were not kept at that time and need to know how to get parents details. I believe
his mother may have been a Louisa Geddes and
his father John Richardson, later Sir who was a Royal Naval Surgeon.If the info on Alfred's marriage certificate is correct he was illegitimate. (The IGI index does not record his birth details)Can anyone help?
