Russells & Thompson in Abaco Cay Bahamas

Been trying to trace my Thompson line. My grandfather was William Fletcher Thompson born in 1890 Nassau. His father was William Francis Thompson born 1863. His father sis supposedly a Joshua Thompson b; abt 1840. I have just found a Joshua Thompson who's parents are John and Elizabeth (Russell) Thompson who were married in 1830 Abaco Cay Bahamas. Does this sound familiar to anyone? My great gradfather William Francis was the light house keeper for many years and I believe it was in Abaco Bay. Aby help is greatly appreciated. The story is the Thompsons were loyalist and went to the Bahamas when the REV WAR started. I'm missing so much. Please Help if you can!!
