Do you have any more information about where this Menendez Smith came from? If it was North end Long Island (Seymours, Glintons, Burnt Ground) We are almost certainly related. I am saying this also because so many of the family names you called are the same as my great aunts and uncles. Emily, Edith, and Levi are all names of great-aunts and uncles. One of my great-grandfathers is Reuben. Even that Melvina sounds familiar. I also have here that either one or two of my greatgrandmother's brothers married Pratt women.
Even if your family came from Exuma or Eleuthera, there is still a strong posibility we are related. We need to investigate further.
