Hi,

My mom's family is from Key West, Florida. Her name is Carla CLEARE BEDGOOD and her email is bedgood@aol.com. She is descended from the Bahamian Loyalist families that lived in the Bahamas and then migrated to the Florida Keys.
The surnames we are researching are: CLEARE, CURRY, JOHNSON, ALBURY, LOWE, SWEETING, TEDDER, SAUNDERS, and LIGHTBOURN. Some of these names appear on both sides multiple times. Hey, it was a small group of islands. :-)
We are using "Kinfolks" as a reference and some research my grandmother, Ida Emma CURRY CLEARE, did in the 1960s and 1970s, but we could always use some more help.
Most of our ancestors were on Green Turtle Key/Cay and Harbour Island. Thanks in advance for your help.
