Here's the brief version of my paternal family tree:

Thomas Loper (Dutch) had three children with Mae (Sierra Leonese: a girl, Milcanah (son, died on a ship to America), and Thomas (my greatgreatgreatgreatgrandfather). Thomas took the last name McKenny from a sailor on the boat ride to the Bahamas. He was a gift to Ann and Robert Millar (siblings) from England, who moved to Bannermantown.
Thomas and Ann had a child, Charles McKenny. Thomas married Grace Millar.
Charles w. Jane G. Wemyss, they had
Thomas who wed Esther Mackay (second wife), they had
Laurence McKinney who wed Phoebe Rodgers (second wife), they had
William who wed Geneva Miller (my parents).
I've documented over 1100 names of the descendents of Thomas McKenny and Grace Millar. I will eventually post my tree on this website. I might have posted it on Ancestry.com, or world tree? several years ago.
Laurence and his siblings were the last to be born in the Bahamas. The McKinney family populated Key West and Miami, NY, and San Diego. Anyone wanting information can contact me at the above email address.
