Robert Land on the Island of Eleuthera

I am looking for information on Robert Lane that lived on the
Island of Eleuthera from about 1642 to 1657.

What I currently know is that Richard Lane was born 1596 in
London, England. He was married to Alice Carter and they had
four children; Samuel born 1628, Jo born 1631, Oziell born 1632
and Mary Lane born 1642. Richard was by trade a Merchant and
Taylor. The Lane Family's religion was Puritan. In April 1635,
Richard, wife Alice, and children Samuel, Jo and Oziell set sail from London on the ship
Expectation to the Island of Providence. Providence Island
now called Santa Catalina) which is next to the Island of
Henrietta (now called San Adreas) located in the lower Caribbean
about 200 miles north-northeast of Costa Rica. The Richard Lane
family resided on Providence Island until at least 1642 when
Mary Lane, the youngest daughter was born.

The Richard Lane family probably moved about 1647 with the
William Stayle party or shortly thereafter from Providence
Island to Eleurthera Island. The Lane Family lived there until
Richard and his son Oziell drowned on August 7, 1657 off the
Eleurthean coast. Some time after Richard and Oziell's deaths,
Alice, Jo and Mary moved back to London, England to live out
their lives and where they are now buried. Samuel moved to Anne
Arundel County, Maryland where he died January 18, 1680 or 1681.

If anyone has information on Richard Land and family. Please
leave a message or drop me an e-mail note.
