My search engine popped up with your mesage when I was searching for Lillie May Bagwell. My first thought was that it was another miss until I noticed that two of the "grandchildren listed had names of Lillie and Pearl respectively. My Lillie May Bagwell is presume to have been bown in Oklahoma only because that is where she married on 31 Jan 1898 in Pottawatomie Co to William M'Note (possibly Monte) Belford born 09 Dec 1867 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana and died aft 06 Jul 1927 Probably in Seattle, Kings, Washington. They had three children Chloe born 28 Sep 1900 born in Oklahoma and died about 01 Oct 1900; Vivian Pearl born 09 Oct 1903, in Autwine, Kay, Oklahoma who married Lynn Roper in 29 Jun 1922 and then died 04 Apr 1995 in Seattle, King WA and Thelma Opal who was born in Yale, Payne, Oklahoma and died 27 Mar 1983.They had a step sister born on an earlier marriage -- Florence Belford 09 Dec 1888 -- she may have been the same as the Florence Morgan who was born on the same date and died Jul 1981 in KS with a last known residence in Witchiital Kansas, the last social security payout was to Joplin Missouri. Her mother was Bessie Anderson who presumably died before the marriage to Lillie May Bagwell.Bessie had married William on 01 March 1887 in Kirwin, Phillips, KS.
Do any of these names ring a bell with anyone?I would love to fill in my blanks as to locations of the currently unknown children's birth's and death's and more information about each of the two mothers.I keep drawing blanks in my usual sources. Please feel free to e-mail me direct.Thank you.
