Have just had a look through all the bits my grandparents bought out with them in 1911 when to moved to New Zealand, amongst them 2 newspaper articles on Alexander Grant.
The Burton Mail dated 12 April 1907 with the notice of Mr Alexander Grants death (obviously a great sportman) stated death at home 63 Horninglow Street - In my previous email I mentioned the invite of CB Bagnall and that address was 64 Horninglow St - so obviously neighbours.
Again The Burton mail dated 16 April 1907 an article on Mr Grants death and what took place, and mentioned floral tributes from members of the family - Charlie and Louie also Mr and Mrs Bagnall.
Looking at funeral cards it appears that the Grant family all interred at Burton upon Trent cemetery. So this is one place that could hold answers, as I have found in the past that family plots often hold keys to several family members. I do not have access to census records - only 1881, but feel this again could hold information.
You mention a wedding photo - is it possible to get it restored?? I know in this country (New Zealand) they do wonders with old photos now days.
