Yes, I met the lady some time ago who put the Bagley genealogy over the internet. I agree with most of her genealogy except when it gets to John Bagley's father-that I still question.
I have some of the Bagley wills except for the will of Peter Bagley who died in 1735. There were several Peter's in this line so at present time I can not say that the Peter who died in 1735 was John's father.
But I know there was another Peter who died earlier in 1684 & that this Peter Bagley was shown as Peter Bagley, Sr. Check with the Library of Congress. Since Wilkin's husband Peter had died before that date of 1684 by the time this Peter came along he became Peter Bagley, Sr. & with Hugh Bagley being admr. of his estate-it seems more reasonable that this was Hugh's brother and more likely the father of the Peter Bagley who died in 1735.
I am still not convinced that Peter Bagley who d: 1735 was the father of John Bagley.
