Multiple Biggs (Baggs) families in Oklahoma

Hi All,

Is it possible that there are multiple Biggs (Baggs) families from Oklahoma that had Annie for a mother and a Cecil for a son, and is there a relation between the two? I have also found at least 2 Mabel Biggs & 2 Hazel Biggs living in Oklahoma by 1920. Also, does anyone know what happened to the Almon Upperman/Cora Biggs family that moved from Ohio to Oklahoma along side Willis Biggs (brother)?

As for my specific family line, the info that I have on the Biggs/Wilson marriage & including many children:

Prefacing with John (son of David Baggs), whom married Matilda Maddox (granddaughter of Zororable) in or around Ohio by late 1830's, they had at least 5 children. At some point by the late 1860's or 1870's or so John's son (b. Alexander Baggs), and a few of the immediate siblings changed their surname, (or, perhaps), reassumed the original spelling of their Irish surname, and moved to Oklahoma. (Maybe Civil War issue) I know that name changes may happen in families, but the actual circumstance is still a mystery to me.

ANNIE ELVIRA WILSON
Birth:  22 FEB 1883  Decatur, Wise, Texas
Death: JAN 1945
Father: JOHN L. WILSON (b. 1850 IL.)
Mother:        JOSEPHINE (?)        (Phennie) (b. 1857 IL.)
Spouse:        WILLIS MOTEN BIGGS
Marriage: 31 DEC 1898  Purcell, McClain, Oklahoma

WILLIS MOTEN BIGGS
Birth: JUL 1876, Pickaway Co., OH
Death: 1957
Father:        ALEXANDER BIGGS (BAGGS) ( b. 1842, Pickaway Co., OH)
Mother:        MARY MARIE (Mariah) SCHOOLCRAFT b. 1841 , , IL)
Spouse: ANNIE ELVIRA WILSON
Marriage: 31 DEC 1898 Purcell, McClain, Oklahoma

Their oldest children I've found so far per census record (1920) with birthdates listed are Mabel Alice (b. 1904 Castle, Okfuskee, Oklahoma, ) , then Hazel Pearl (b. 1909 Davis, Murray, Oklahoma), Cecil Willis (b. 1911 Castle, Okfuskee, Oklahoma), Leon (b. 1913 Castle, Okfuskee, Oklahoma) Ellison (b. 1918?,, Oklahoma). I have subsequently been advised that there are several more including Mary (b. 1920), Bud E, and Almon. Bud E may be Ellison, and presumably, Almon was named for Almon Upperman. My Grandmother Hazel Pearl married Guy Anderson Phelps, they had (per my mother's (Cecilia) birth certificate) at least 6 children by 1936. Hazel died in 1946 and the children were scattered via adoption (so I'm told). My mother was raised by Lorraine Page, common law relationship briefly with Guy A. If anyone has additional info to share I look forward to hearing from you. I would be interested in reconnecting with relatives. I have more information if you would care to write.
sincerely,
Walter Wm. McLeod
