I have more information regarding Frederick Baggs. He was born on October 1, 1817 and diend on December 24, 1879. He is buried in Smith Cemetary in Carroll County, Missouri. His wife, Nancy Ann Berry Baggs, was born on November 26, 1829 in Monroe County, Illinois and died on December 8, 1903 in Carroll County, Missouri. She is buried in Antioch Cemetary. Frederick and Nancy were married on December 26, 1852 in McDonough County, Illinois.

There is information that Frederick married Martha Gutherie before marrying Nancy. From this union was born Charlie or Charles Baggs who was listed as being about 6 years old with Frederick, age 32, a daughter about 4 years old and a woman named Elizabeth, age 60.

Frederick and Nancy had sons William Berry Baggs who married Josephine Hale on September 26, 1888. They also had my great-grandfather, John Walter Baggs who was born on January 23, 1864 in Illinois near Blandonsville. The family moved to Carroll County, Missouri when John Walter was nine years old according to his obituary. John Walter Baggs died on May 3, 1929. He married Rosalee Elliott on March 26, 1889 and had children: Earl Baggs born on February 8, 1890, Clarence Frederick Baggs born on January 5, 1892, Lena Baggs born on February 27, 1899, Alvin Baggs and Geneva Baggs.

There is some indication that Frederick's father was named John Baggs. However, there is also a person named John Baggs born about 1815 in Randolph, Illinois, who could be a sibling or cousin of Frederick.

If you know anything about Frederick, please let me know. Thank you.
