Thomas Choice Baggett birthdate

Re. the birthdate of Thomas Choice Baggett. These two census records show why it's difficult to determine if he was born in 1770 (as a Bible record states) or in 1780 (as the 1850 census of Harrison County, Miss., shows). On the 1830 census, Thomas is shown as aged 50-60, yet on the 1840 census, he is also shown as aged 50-60!
