NUNNELEE-BAGGETT m 21 Sep 1854 Alabama
Posted by: Kathye [Payne] Upham Date: May 12, 2001 at 18:47:41
  of 1700

In 1860 James is shown in Auburn, Macon Co census as Head of household w/chn:
Nunnelee, James wm 25 Ga
Susan V. wf 05 Al
Eliza L. wf 03 Al
Cornelia J. wf 01 Al
Where did they go after 1860? Was Susan A dead or is age a misprint for "25"?
Was Susan d/o Andrew & Rebecca BAGGOTT shown in Chambers Co 1850 census age 12 b Ga?
Since NUNNELEE is never, ever spelled right I haven't been able to locate gg-uncle James and his family after 1860. His mother Caroline [Gresham] Nunnelee, sister Cornelia Caroline, and brother Eugene Lavarsha went to Tx very soon after the war ended...I haven't been able to locate the chn William, Mary, John, or Annie in Tx so I just feel they stayed somewhere in Alabama.
