My Jesse is too early to be the one you are looking for, nonetheless, because this family ends up in Al I'm posting it...I have a Jesse Baggett born in 1728 in Northhampton Co., NC and died in Columbus Co, GA in 1825. He was the fourth of five children of Abraham and Sarah Baggett. This Abraham is fifth-generation descent of John (1612) of London Eng. Perhaps these dates and counties will lets you find a connection. Maryellen
