Hi Mr. Ranger.....
I am posting here and plan to email you if tyour address is still operational. I am standing here with my hand out...begging any information that may possibly link your James Baggett b 1757 NC with my Ehteldred Baggett b . about 1779 NC. I too have been told that this Etheldred Baggett my 3rd gr grandfather was Native American, possibly Cherokee. He married <most likely> in NC to Dicey Ann Maliney Davis b 1791 in lower Edgecombe Co NC(dau of John (Jr ) Davis and wife Pheriby), and moved then to Muhlenberg co KY where he is found in the 1840 & 1850 Census with his family. I am descended through his son Etheldred Jr. This son Married Rosa (Rose Ann) Keplinger in McLean Co KY (This county was formed from part of Muhlenberg co KY). Their son Eddie Lee Baggett was my great grandfather. His wife was Hallie Jo Dame. Their Daughter Thelma G. Baggett was my mother's mom.
