Hi! I'm searching for any information on Nancy Caroline Baggett born 1831 and died in 1924 in Gwinnett Co. GA. She's buried in Auburn, GA. She is the daughter of Wiley Baggett born 1791 and Nancy Collins. Nancy Caroline had one son name Alford Iverson Baggett who was born in 1853 and died in 1929. It's rumored that Nancy Caroline married a first cousin, most likely a Baggett, and moved to Alabama, but her father brought her back, and i'm guessing this happened around the time of when her son was born. Nancy is in all the sources and books, but is always listed as "never married, but alive in 1880." But she in fact did have a child through her cousin, and Alford is not in any sources. I'm trying to find out her the father could be, and if this sounds familiar to anyone, please contact me. All the Baggett books that i've seen make no mention of Alford, i'm part of a mystery line! Thanks!
