Eddie:

We have corresponded on this matter before.

On a research trip to AL this past August, I located the actual marriage liscense issued on 24 Mar 1851 in Talapoosa County.

The liscense gave the name as Melissa A. M. BERRYHILL. The recorded marriage in the book only gave A. M. BERRYHILL. I have a copy of the actual liscense and will provide you a copy if you wish.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to advance my research of Pleasant H. BAGGETT any further. I have placed some enquires and hope for positive responses.

I will be out of town for the next 1 1/2 weeks, but I will collect my e-mail and review this forum when I return.

William T. Cox
