My family line descends from Etheldred Baggett Sr, 1790, to his son, Garrett, 1832 in NC. Garrett came to southeast MO prior to 1859 and married Nancy Jane Lott, born in KY abt 1842. He filed on 160 acres of govt land seven miles S of present day Fisk, MO. They had Amanda Rosa Baggett, born in 1866. She married Thomas M Davis and they had Nellie G Davis, born 9/20/1890, who was my grandmother. She married Isom S. Pope, born abt 1891. They had Isom LaVern Pope, my father, born in 12/1917. I was born 7/4/1953. I am a member of the Southeast Kituwah Nation, a Cherokee tribe. The Cherokee lineage desends from the Baggetts.
