Hello Pam,

In doing my Baggett family research I have come across the marriage of Tennell BAGGETT to Nancy NIOTT on 16 Mar. 1837 in Monroe County, GA. Other BAGGETT marriages in that county around that time are: Leona BAGGETT to John Sykes on 5 Sept. 1837; Winey BAGGETT to Jesse Croom on 4 Jul. 1839; and Bennett BAGGETT to Eliza Gammon on 25, Feb. 1841. I also have Tennell BAGGETT in the index of 1860 Census of Monroe County, GA in the Redbone District. I dont see where he is listed in the 1840 Monroe Co. Census just Elias in the 408th District. Hope some of this helps. If I come across anything else I think may help I will send it your way.
