Bill,
I haven't seen the name Pleasant H. Baggett in any of my charts, but the fact of him being born in GA and later being in San Augustine makes me think there is a possibile connection with our line; it starts with MIcajah Baggett c.1791 NC, John Gaston Baggett b. 1820 NC, then the family was in GA by 1834 in Chattahoochee Co. until abt. 1869, then in San Augustine until abt. 1904. Maybe from a brother or cousin of MIcajah but don't have that information. I have lists of the children of MIcajah & John Gaston. My father-in-law always said there were a lot of Baggetts in San Augustine. Let me know if you find any connection.
