Clarice: I attempted to send an e-mail but it was returned.

My gggrandfather is Pleasant H. BAGGETT, b GA c 1830. Married to Melissa Amenia Minerva BERRYHILL on 24 Mar 1851 in Talapoosa County Alabama. The family is in Texas by 1853 when 1st child, Allen, is born. They appear in the Nacadoches County Census for 1860,1870, and 1880. Nacadoches County is adjoined by San Augustine County.

Does this match any of your information? I have be unable to account for Pleasant prior to his marriage.

If you are interested, I can give information on his issue and the issue of a daughter, Ellender, who is my ggrandmother.
