Interesting,
I have been tracing my lineage and found that my great grandfather was David Jersey(sometimes Jess) was born in Louisiana around 1856. He moved to Texas, married and had my grandfather Jess (AKA Jessie and Jessy) Baggett around 1902.
According to the census records in 1910 Limestone, Texas, he was born in Louisiana, but his father was born in Georgia. I am trying to find out who that was.
Maybe we can find out where David was born.
