Micajah was the son of James Baggett Jr. who enlisted in Anson near S.C. in March of 1776. He was enlisted for 15 months. James died 18 sept. 1833 and his wife Nancy died 19 june 1838. Micajah had 3 brothers: Josiah, Abraham, and John(or Mark). These are descendants of Nicholas Baggett of Bertie Co. N.C. who left a will to his 12 children in 1753 along with his wife Mary Hardy Baggett. I have More info.
