I purchased four studio portraits of young children, evidently originating from one family album/collection. These are as follows: Photo 1, taken by J. Geo. Nussbaumer & Co., Buffalo, NY, identified on the back: "Wilfred Parkhurst Baer Age 1 yr. 10 mo. - April, 1891." Photo 2, taken by J. Geo. Nussbaumer & Co., Buffalom NY, identified on the back: "Sept 25th 1892. W. P. B. Age 3 yrs 3 mo. M. E. B. " 1 " 3 "" Photo 3, taken by J. Geo. Nussbaumer & Co., Buffalo, NY, identified on the back: "April 1893 Margaret 2 yrs" Photo 4, taken by Palmer, Buffalo, NY, identified on the back: "Raymond George Baer 15 mos. Jany 1899" I found these three individuals listed in the 1900 Census data for Buffalo, Erie Co., NY. They were the children of George H. Baer, born May 1863 in NY, and Ella C. Hill, born Apr 1866 in NY. At the time of the 8 Jun 1900 enumeration, the family resided at 130 High Street. The couple's four children (all born in NY) were: Wilfred Parkhurst Baer, born Jun 1889 Margaret E. Baer, born Jul 1891 Raymond George Baer, born 27 Oct 1897 Sarah E. Baer, born Mar 1899 At the time of the 20 Apr 1910 enumeration, Ella was widowed and working as a newspaper proofreader, residing on 14th Street in Buffalo with three single children--Margaret (working as a stenographer in a lawyer's office), Raymond, and Sarah. I found Raymond's WWI draft registration card which lists his and his mother's residence in 1918 as 363 14, Buffalo, NY. Contact me if you wish to view and/or acquire these photos.
