Was a Jacob BAEHR born 1857 in Evans City, PA?

I have recently heard from REEB cousins in Keskastel, France who provided a record of marriage in Keskastel for a Jacob BAEHR, born 22 November 1857 in Evans Burg, which I believe means Evans City in Butler County, PA to a Jacob BAEHR and wife, Margaretha born WITTMANN. The younger Jacob shows up in Keskastel in a marriage to Catherine BURY on 29 November 1883. We do have a little more on their descendants in Keskastel. There is a long record of the family with variations in spellings as BAER, BEER, BAR (with umlaut over the A), BAHR (umlaut over A) and finally also BAEHR who ived in Keskastel, Bas-Rhin, France. This area was in olden times known in German as "Grafschaf Saarwerden" (County Saarwerden meaning it was the realm of Nassau-Counts). It became property of France and annexed to the department of Bas-Rhin in 1793. I am hoping someone can help me to find more information on the Jacob BAEHR family especially the elder Jacobs year of birth and his wife, Margaret WHITTMANN BAEHR's birth. Any help appreciated. John V. REEB
