I'm looking for information on my maternal grandfather, John Baer, or his family. He was (might have been) born on 18 Mar 1897, in Troy New York to William Henry (or Henry William) Baer and Sarah Margaret (or Margaret Sarah) Green. His mother was apparently born in Scotland, year unknown. Siblings were Lillian, William Samuel, Frederick Henry, and Margaret. His father died when John was young and his mother remarried. She died soon thereafter and John ran away
from home and lost all contact with his siblings. Any help appreciated. Especially looking for those siblings or their descendants.
