I am researching Ungers from Lancaster Co. PA and have located a marriage for Anna Christina Baehr to John Unger, 12 March 1779 at Reithers Reformed Church, Lancaster Co. PA. John Unger is listed as the son of John Unger. I believe this family later moved to Franklin Co. PA. John is listed in Am. Rev. Soldiers of Franklin Co. "John Unger served as private in Lan. Co. PA 1778-79 and 81-82. b. 23 March 1755 d. 19 Mar. 1825. Wife Christiana b. 19 Nov. 1751 d. 20 Oct. 1831. Came from Warwick Twp, Lan Co. PA. Lived in Peter's Twp, Franklin Co. PA." John and Christina are buried at the St. Thomas Lutheran Ch., Franklin Co. PA. They had at least the following children: Catharine b. 9 Dec. 1781, Christina b. 10 June 1785, an unnamed daughter b. 9 Dec. 1787, Elizabeth b. 1 July 1789 and John b. 16 Dec. 1791. John Unger's will 1825 names wife Christina, grandson John Coyner, Jr., and daughter Elizabeth Swaggart.
