Hi Jon, Thanks for your response. Jacob Baer,1745 was my g-g-g-g-g grandfather. I do not have access to a book of Lehigh Co. History. Some of my information had already been done by my father-names and some dates. But I found on the Family Tree Maker internet search site an eight generation descendant genealogy going back to Jochim Bar of 1558, which showed Johannes, his sons Jacob and Johan Adam.So this verified what my dad had plus it gave some dates. As for the marriage date for Jacob,Jr., I found this in a book from my library titled: Marriage & Marriage Evidence in Pennsylvania German Churches. On page 511 , in section of Helfrich Personal &Pastoral Records,1790- 1810, 1816-1862, the first line reads: Baer, Jacob, Margaretha Schumacher 28 Apr 1795, domi. A note for"domi" indicated they were married in the minister's home. The death date for Jacob,Sr. that I have is from the internet site which said he died 24 Feb. 1810 in probably Weisenberg Twp. Lehigh Co.PA. If you have not been to this site, you might want to give it a glance. The URL is: http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/h/i/n/ Rebecca-J-Hinnerschietz/GENE4-0005.html Nancy
