Am trying to trace my husband's family. Earliest Baer I have is John Bear/Baer from Northampton Co, PA. Lehigh Co. was formed from Northampton Co. John relocated to Hampshire Co, Va and died there sometime after 1803. I don't know his wife's name but his children were Adam, b 1782 in Northampton Co, John, Barbara, Sarah and Mary. Don't have any dates for them except for Adam's birthdate. Adam married Susan Haas. Does your book happen to mention this branch of the Baer's? Would love to find John's ancestors.
