Barbara Baer, daughter of Michael Baer (died 1741), lived in the Lancaster County PA area in first half of the 1700's. Barbara's husband was Casper Walter and on July 8, 1756 they were attacked by a small band of Indians and Casper and four young childern were killed. Barbara was tortured but survived and remarried Henry Househoulder. The four oldest childern were taken captive by the Indians, I am a decentant of one of them and would like to find out more on the Baer line.
