I'm looking for any information regarding my
GGrandfather, Benjamin Franklin Baer, b.1846
somewhere in PA. He served in the Army
during the Civil War and met my
GGrandmother, Lucy Ann Heath, while posted
at Petersburg, VA at the end of the war.
After the war, he was, for a time a
"provisions merchant" out of Harrisburg, PA,
but left the business to attend Medical
School at the U of Penn, where he graduated
in 1876. Any info would be appreciated.
