Hello Form: I have a very good friend and neighbor whose maidenname was Badman. She is just starting to research her family who came to Greene Co., IL. @ 1880's She is the daughter of George Franklin Badman b- 9 March 1893, married Lillian Barnett, died 12 Sept. 1968, Winchester, Scott Co., IL. Lillian was daughter of Jefferson and Alice Marie Odell Barnett, born 1900, died 1963 Winchester, Scott Co., IL. Paternal Great/grandparents: Henry L. and Josie E. Ballard Badman. Paternal Gr/Gr/Grandparents: George W. and Catherine Badman. On the 1880 Greene Co., IL. Census; Page 146A H/H# 382/385

This family lived north of Carrollton, IL. and according to census records in Twp.10N, Rge.12W.
My friend thinks this family came here from N.Y., where George had other brother's, one of which owned quite a bit of land in N. Y. City. We are also looking for a family "Coat of Arms" or Family Crest. All information appreciated. Thank You... Karen
