Thanks for posting the Bacot family bible. Peter's younger brother Daniel DeSaussure Bacot (1798-1838) is my ancestor; his daughter Eliza Ferguson Hutson married Dr. Thomas Woodward Hutson (1803-1871), my grandfather's grandfather.

The Charles Fraser miniature portraits of Thomas Wright Bacot (1765-1834) and his wife Jane DeSaussure (1771-1804) descended in your branch of the family; the portrait of Thomas is now at the New York Historical Society, but the portrait of his wife Jane was last owned by Mrs. Paul Micelli (Eleanor Rremsen Vredenburgh 1894-1989). Do you have any idea where it is today?
