the Peter Bacot who died 1836

I'm not a Bacot researcher, but for those who are, there is an interesting entry in the book MARRIAGES and DEATHS From THE NEW YORKER (Double Quarto Edition) 1836 - 1841, by Kenneth Scott (Washington, D. C.: National Geographic Society, 1980), on page 5. It's the death notice of Peter Bacot, and from the chart in Message #74, he must have been the Peter who was born in 1788 and married Mary Eugenia Cochrane. It reads:

"Bacot, Peter, late cashier of the U.S. Branch Bank, Charleston, S.C., on a visit to NYC recently committed suicide in his room at the City Hotel -- 3 Sept. 1836 [edition]"
