I'm looking for information on Sarah BACON who married Thomas Phillip BOWLES, probably in Virginia. It's been suggested to me that my ggggrandfather, Benjamin Bowles, b. 1785, is the son of this couple. I don't have any information to prove that. I do have documentation to prove that Benjamin married Elizabeth JEFFRIES in Barren Co., KY in 1810. And that Sarah Bacon Bowles was also in Barren Co. attending the same Baptist church as the Bowles couple by 1807.
Can anyone tell me more about Sarah (Sally) Bacon and Thomas Phillip Bowles? Do you know where and when they married? Who their children were? Whether both Sarah and Thomas migrated to Barren Co., KY, or whether Sarah went with other relatives or in-laws? When did she come into Kentucky?
You can see that I need a much bigger context before I can do more research on Sarah, Phillip and Benjamin Bowles.
