I have the following that comes from a photocopied document from the Pastersämbetet i Grundsunda Sweden.
Israel Backlund, born in Bjurholm on 14 July 1848, died in Grundsunda on 23 June 1914.
Wife: Maria Helena Charlotta Amillon, born in Nordmaling on 29 May 1853, died on 2 January 1945 in Grundsunda.
Born to them were the following children:
Johan Edward, born on 3 January 1878 in Nordmaling
Hulda Maria, born on 1 January 1882 in Nordmaling
Frans Israel, born on 29 April 1884 in Nordmaling
Karl August, born on 25 August 1886 in Nordmaling
Laura Mathilda, born on 20 September 1888 in Nordmaling
Alfred Immanuel, born on 22 March 1890 in Nordmaling
Axel Emelius, born on 30 March 1891 in Nordmaling
Fanny Elisa Josefina, born on 15 September 1892 in Grundsunda
Ester Kristina, born on 21 February 1898 in Grundsunda
Israel and Maria were my great-grandparents. I'm trying to find out information about Johan, Hulda, Laura, Fanny and Ester. The others came to Canada and the U.S.A. around 1906 to 1910.
