I am looking for information on Joseph Backhouse and his wife Hanna Wilson Backhouse who came to Nicholas County, Virginia now West Virginia in the early 1800. I think that he came to WV from Deleware and was the son of Strange Backhouse and Cathrine Springer, but I cannot find proof. Strange and Cathrine has a son named Joseph who was born in Deleware but I can not find any infromation except that of his birth.
