John BACKHOUSE went by the name John YORK. md Elizabeth DYKES 2 Aug 1866 in Alderney, Channel Islands, GB. To NY in about 1869 where he adopted the name YORK. Father was William BACKHOUSE and mother, Hannah ?. both of York, England.

Looking for any of the many descendants of this family to share information with.
