I am looking for any information on my ancestors Andrea Pietro Bacigalupo and his wife Anna Gotto (Gatto). Their two daughters Maria Theresa Bacigalupo (who married Giocomo Fontana) and Catterina Rosa Bacigalupo (who married Giovanni Repetto)were my Great-Great Grandparents. Maria Theresa's son Giovanni Fontana(my Great-Grandfather) married Virginia Repetto (my Great Grandmother), they were first cousins. I am trying to pease together the Bacigalupo family history. I know that they were from Caregli and Temossi which are both towns outside of Borzonasca, Italy.
The Father Andrea Pietro Bacigalupo is the son of Giovanni Agostino Bacigalupo and Catterina Briafro? The mother Anna Gotto (Gatto) was the daughter of Pietro Agostino Gotto (Gatto) and Luigia Longinotti.
The children of Andrea and Anna Gotto Bacigalupo are as follows:
1. Pietro Andrea Bacigalupo who married Maria Anna Boro. They came to America and lived in Pittsburgh, PA
2. Jiulia Bacigalupo
3. Marianna Bacigalupo
4. Virginia Bacigalupo
5. Maria Luigia Emilia Bacigalupo who married Antonio Rocca
6. Carlotta Maria Bacigalupo
7. Maria Theresa Bacigalupo who married Giocomo Fontana
8. Catterina Rosa Bacigalupo who married Giovanni Repetto
I have written to the thw churchs that they were members from SS. Vincinzo e Anastasio in Caregli and Santa Maria Assunta in Temossi and so for I have recieved nothing from them!!
I would LOVE to get photographs of both of the churchs and any information on the Bacigalupo and Gotto/Gatto families!!
PLEASE HELP!!!
