Looking for descendants of Gottlieb Bachmann/Bachman who was born April 4, 1850 in Berne, Switzerland. His parents were John and Barbara Bachmann. He came to the United States in 1872, eventually settling in Findlay, Hancock County, OH. He married Anna Elizabeth Jacobs. Gottlieb Bachmann died in 1927, Anna Elizabeth in 1941. They
had these children: William A. Bachmann, was living in Fort Wayne, IN in 1927; August F. Bachmann, Findlay, OH; Alma Bachmann of Findlay, OH; Harry A. Bachmann who died in 1899.
Gottlieb Bachmann was the youngest brother of my great-great grandmother Barbara Bachmann Stuckey who came to Wyandot County, OH from Switzerland in 1876. Barbara's oldest daughter Elizabeth, surname Bachmann, was my maternal great-grandmother. It is possible that Elizabeth was born to Barbara Bachmann out of wedlock.
