I have a considerabe collection of material on the Bachmann family that started out from Swizerland. They went to the Platz [Rhineland] & them moved to Gaiacia Austria in late 1700's. The family is dispersed over a wide area with mambers living in Canada, US, Australia South America etc. Look at the WEB site feefhs.org for a more detailed information. tpm
