John E. Bachmann, Hamilton, OH, ca.1863-ca.1944

Looking for information on John E. Bachmann b. abt 1863 probably in SW Ohio or SE Indiana. He spent most of his life in Hamilton Ohio, and most of his descendants still live there. He was Married to Ann Ranke d/o Frank and Mary Ranke, also from Hamilton OH, abt. 1890. John died in Hamilton Ohio sometime around the end of WWII, 1943-1945. The State Archives did not have his death certificate on file, however my wife's grandfather (John's grandson) remembers when he died. I do not have the names of John's parents. He does not show up in any census earlier than 1900, and there is contradictory information on his birth State as either Indiana or Ohio. The Names Otto and Robert run in the family.

I would appreciate any information on John or his family.
