Fergus Falls Daily Journal 1/4/1990 - Verner J. Bachman, 58, of Annandale died Saturday, Dec. 30, at his home. Services were Wednesday, Jan. 3, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale, with the Rev. Philip Quanbeck officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
He was born July 14, 1932, in Elizabeth, the son of Vernon and Inga (Sateren) Bachman. He married Janet Stofferahn on Aug. 1, 1959, in Humbolt, S.D.
Mr. Bachman served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was the dairy manager at Lund's Food Store in Minnetonka for the past 24 years.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale, the Maple Lake American Legion and the Maple Lake VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; four children, Susan and Terry of Annandale, Brian of Champlin, and Craig of Fort Worth, Texas; his parents, Vernon and Inga Bachman of Annandale; and one grandson.
Dingmann-Ferrell Funeral Home in Annandale was in charge of arrangements.
